L’autoefficacia permette di prevedere la prestazione arbitrale nel calcio? Uno studio longitudinale condotto attraverso Modelli di Equazioni Struttrali

Dipartimento di Psicologia, Università "La Sapienza" di Roma,Italia

The aim of the study is to evaluate if self-reported self-efficacy predicts football officials’ performance, judged by outside observers.
Participants: At the beginning of the football championship season 146 Italian football’s officials (mean age: 20.2; SD: 2.8) completed a 13-item self-efficacy scale for officiating.
Procedure: Participants have been followed for one year by outside observers who rate several aspects of their performance, This is a standard procedure for football’s officials. Specifically, athletic. Technical, behavioural and disciplinary performance scores ere recorded. Several observations were collected for each official during the season.
Statistical analyses: A structural equation model was run, In this model self.efficacy items were considered as indicators of a self-rfficacy latent variable which have been considered as independent in the model. For each aspect of the performance (athletic, technical, behavioural and disciplinary) rate by the outside observes , iy was calculated a mean of oibservations. These means served as indicators of the latent variable “outside observations” which has been considered as a dependent variable in the model.
Results: Results indicated that the mod fit adequately the data (CFI:93;NNFI: 92; RMSEA:.06;CI::051-.08)

The game is the principal occupation of every living being, it is a natural activity been born by a demand of children and alive for a longtime.
The primordial form of game seem to be the search of to perceive and to explore the external world. In the game it occurs a spontaneous adhesion from all the participants and, since every game introduces some rules, also to the limits of time and space to be observed, the acceptance of all of this assumes the meaning of auto-education, also to the discipline, in a climate of cheerful industriousness , allowing the overcoming of many conditionings both of social nature and cultural, and the deòolition of so many barriers.
The game should represent in general an essential moment of the physical education and the education. The game is a jewel formative tool that fully involves the personality of the teachers and the students
